David Casteevens

David Casteevens, a fine Christian young man who has attended our church frequently the last several years, and whose fiancee is Jordan Sweeney who grew up in the church, was seriously injured in a car accident in Richmond yesterday.  His friend and minister's son was killed.  Jordan's mom informed us this AM that while David's situation is good, and not life threatening, both he and Jordan are devastated by the loss of his friend, and the effect on the family.  David and Jordan are to be married Aug. 23 at Camp Accovac, where they met, and have worked together in Christian Ministry for several summers.  Please be in Prayer for all of these, and especially the family who lost the son.

In Christ,

John Woodzel

Marty Taylor

Please pray for my good friend Marty Taylor who is a pastor in Conway, SC. He was diagnosed with early stages prostate cancer this spring and starts treatments this weekend. He and his wife are flying to Montreal today on recommendation from his doctor to start a certain kind of ultrasound treatment that hasn’t been approved yet in the States. They have prayerfully considered this and felt it was the best action to take.

Also...

Adam Fish (a student of mine from Campbell) has been completely healed of his cancer. Praise God! He was diagnosed with sporadic Burkitt's Lymphoma this spring. We prayed for him on several occasions as a body, I know. Please continue to pray that the Lord draw close to him and make himself real to Adam. Folks can read more about him at www.caringbridge.org/visit/adamfish.

Thanks,
Danny Rodgers
